AFOLAOLA is a technology company built on one discipline: build things that honor what they touch.

Ọlá means honor in Yorùbá — not the ceremonial kind, but the everyday kind. The honor of following through. Of treating a person's money, time, or work as something to be respected, not extracted from.

That idea runs through everything we build, and it's why each product carries the Ola name — not simply Purse, Time, Order, or Inventory, but OlaPurse, OlaTime, OlaOrder, and OlaInventory. Each one exists to honor something that matters.

Before any product carries the AFOLAOLA name, it must satisfy seven principles:

• It solves a real problem.
• It is simple enough for ordinary people.
• Privacy is built into the architecture — not added later.
• It is reliable by design.
• It avoids unnecessary complexity.
• People own what belongs to them.
• It is built to last.

That philosophy also shapes how we think about language. Respecting what a product touches means respecting the language people think in — not simply translating words, but honoring local conventions, currencies, dates, time, and culture.

We're not trying to build the biggest software company. We're trying to build software that people can trust for a very long time.
